How to Permanently Fix Curtain Rings that Catch and Scrape on Curtain Poles.

There are several ways that people solve the issue of curtain rings catching on the curtain pole.  Some of the solutions include: ​

 

- Furniture Polish

- WD40 or light oil

- Candle Wax

- Standard sticky tape ​

 

These solutions can sometimes work, but they are mostly temporary and will not solve many situations, especially where there is a join or ridge along the pole (as with telescopic or extendable poles). ​

 

Ezyglide Low Friction Tape is the simple and permanent solution that works in most situations, including for extendable metal poles. ​

 

The tape is applied along the entire length of the pole, under the rings. 

 

It has a strong adhesive layer to attach to the pole and a very low friction layer that allows the rings to slide smoothly and quietly. ​
